The fee is necessary, because it covers all the expenses associated with training you to represent the name of the brand. The ongoing royalty fee is either a percentage of the revenue, or a set price. This is because you will be using an existing brand to run your business.
Step 3 – Training
Last but not least, you will be trained into running the business. A good franchise opportunity comes with a comprehensive training program, which usually takes between one and two weeks to complete. During this time, you will learn about the business methods associated with the company. Furthermore, you will learn about managing your business, and you will be trained in marketing. Each industry has its own marketing campaigns, which have been shown to work for them. Through this training, you will gain all the knowledge you need to run your business according to the franchise model, and you will be ready to get started.
